Our Small Group Training Series combines the energy and inspiration of group exercise with the individualized attention of personal training. A small class size (3-8 participants per class) ensures that our personal trainers can provide a customized workout. Whether you’re looking to lose weight, tone up, run a 5K or just feel better about yourself, small group training will help you drive results.

BEGINNER'S TRIATHLON TRAINING

Triathlons may be the ultimate test of cardiovascular endurance, but tri-athletes who neglect musculoskeletal strength and flexibility will never fulfill their true potential.  Whether you are training for a Sprint, Olympic, Half Ironman, or Ironman triathlon, this triathlon training program will get you ready to complete a triathlon while keeping your mind and body healthy.

BOXING

This class will teach you the basics of boxing while incorporating interval training. This program focuses on mitt drills, footwork, and speed drills to increase your boxing skills and development.

HYDRO HIIT

Experience an energetic, shallow (and deep if you’d like) water workout. Level up with cardio, suspension training, boot camp, and interval moves using the water, medicine balls, dumbbells, and your body as resistance. An effective way to get you fit and toned with minimal impact on your body.

KETTLEBELL & BOSU

This 8-Week program is designed to help kick your fitness into gear and uses compound exercises that work for multiple muscle groups simultaneously using kettlebells and stability equipment. This curriculum will help develop strength, muscular endurance, stability, and increase your caloric expenditure. This program is facilitated by a certified personal trainer and includes a pre and post-assessment to measure your success, personal goal review, and a supportive atmosphere to help you stay motivated throughout your journey.

KINESIS MULTI-CIRCUIT TRAINING

Kinesis Training is comprised of four machines that take traditional exercises, such as chest press, lat pulldowns, and rows, and combines them with functional movements like reaching, squatting, and bending.  This training develops balance, core/overall strength, and flexibility for people of all fitness levels.

OBSTACLE COURSE TRAINING

Train with a small, motivated group with the goal of running an obstacle course race together!  Represent your local YMCA in a Spartan Race, MudRun, Adventure Race and more!  Gain the confidence to complete the races with training from experienced trainers who are here to prepare you for the tasks to come.  Focuses will include endurance running, upper body strength, balance, agility, lateral movement, teamwork and lots of fun!

OLYMPIC WEIGHTLIFTING

This class focuses primarily on instructing and improving technical execution of the snatch, clean & jerk, and related lifts. This class is designed to help improve technique, efficiency, and coordination in the movements.

OUTDOOR CROSS TRAINING

Let's take it outside with a series of bodyweight exercises and high-intensity movements including burpees, and pushups, with implementing weights, kettlebells, and steps.  Keeping it to a small group with the trainer focusing on form and challenging each participant to their ability.  Weather permitting, could be brought inside if needed.

RACE DAY 5K/10K

Prepare yourself to run a 5K or 10K with this program by practicing cardiovascular techniques as well as working through ways to increase your muscular endurance.  This program will help prepare you mentally and physically with trainers who have firsthand experience in running these types of races.

ROWED RAGE

A high-intensity class that includes strength and cardio to make up a total body workout that is centered around improving technique and capacity on the rower. Don’t be surprised to see kettlebells, dumbbells, plyo-boxes, and TRX straps either!

TOTAL BODY CONDITIONING

This class includes a fairly intense mix of aerobic, strength training, and speed elements within each class session.   Take it to the next level in this fast-paced small class that mixes strength building and muscular endurance for a high-intensity, sweaty workout. Modifications are always provided along with the stress of using proper form to avoid injury. Work at your own pace through different rounds of a variety of exercises. You’ll leave class feeling powerful and strong!

TOTAL GYM INCLINE

The Total Gym trainer allows for time-efficient, intense full-body workouts that combine cardio and strength.  This workout is great for all fitness levels.

TRX

TRX is a form of suspension training that uses bodyweight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. It requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer, a performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user's body weight to complete the exercises.

WOMEN ON WEIGHTS

This program is designed to help women gain a beautifully sculpted physique while building confidence with a variety of weight training equipment.  Ladies will be led by a trainer through a comprehensive strength and core program to help them reach their goals and build a strong, confident body.
