Health & Wellness Center
Our wellness spaces are designed to be welcoming, inclusive, and accessible for all experience levels. Whether you’re starting a new fitness journey, maintaining an active lifestyle, or looking for low-impact ways to stay healthy, the Sampson Family YMCA provides a supportive environment where individuals and families can move with confidence.
Group Exercise Classes
Group exercise classes bring energy, motivation, and connection to wellness at the Y. Led by certified instructors, our classes are designed to meet members where they are offering options that are challenging, approachable, and adaptable.

Small Group Training
Small Group Training offers the perfect balance of personalized coaching and group motivation. Participants work alongside others with similar goals while receiving expert instruction in a supportive setting.
These sessions focus on building strength, improving endurance, increasing mobility, and creating consistency making them ideal for members who want structure, accountability, and community.
Personal Training
Personal training at the Sampson Family YMCA provides individualized coaching tailored to your goals, fitness level, and lifestyle. Our certified trainers work with adults and teens to create safe, effective programs focused on:

YOUTH PROGRAMMING
Summer Day Camp
Summer Day Camp at the Spencer Family YMCA offers kids in Bethel Park and the South Hills a fun, active, and enriching summer experience close to home. Campers enjoy a balanced mix of outdoor play, swimming, games, creative activities, and team-building experiences all led by caring, trained YMCA staff. Designed to build confidence, friendships, and independence, our camp provides a safe and supportive environment where kids can explore new interests, stay active, and create lasting memories all summer long.
Before & After School Care
Our Before & After School Care program will support working families by providing a safe, structured, and engaging place for children outside of school hours. With time for homework help, physical activity, and hands-on enrichment, this program helps kids start and end their school day feeling supported, connected, and ready to learn.
KidZone (Child Watch)
KidZone gives parents peace of mind while they focus on their own wellness. This short-term childcare offering allows children to play, create, and socialize in a welcoming space supervised by caring YMCA staff—making it easier for families to prioritize healthy habits together.

Active Living for Older Adults
The Spencer Family YMCA is committed to helping older adults stay active, independent, and connected. Our senior health and wellness offerings focus on physical strength, balance, mobility, and social connection — all essential to healthy aging.

Balance and fall-prevention programs

KidsZone at the Spencer Family YMCA
KidsZone at the Spencer Family YMCA offers a supervised play space that keeps kids engaged and smiling while parents take time to focus on their health and well-being. With a focus on safety, inclusion, and fun, KidsZone helps make every YMCA visit easier for families.
