November2026 November2026

Everyone deserves a place to belong and a seat at the table. This November, our focus on hunger and homelessness invites us to recognize the challenges facing neighbors experiencing food and housing insecurity—and take action together. Every donation, act of kindness and opportunity to serve helps build a stronger, more connected Pittsburgh.

YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh Turkey Trot presented by UPMC Health Plan

Start Thanksgiving morning with movement, community and purpose! The YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh Turkey Trot brings thousands of runners, walkers, volunteers and supporters together for one of our largest annual community celebrations.

Every step helps raise critical funds that expand access to YMCA programs and services. Gather your family, invite your friends and help make a difference for neighbors across Greater Pittsburgh.

Register to run or walk, or sign up to volunteer and make giving back part of your Thanksgiving tradition.

Turkey Trot

September also marks the kickoff of registration for one of Pittsburgh's favorite Thanksgiving traditions—the 2026 YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh Turkey Trot presented by UPMC Health Plan! Each year, our community comes together to move with purpose, celebrate family and help our neighbors in need.

Veterans Health

This Veterans Day, we honor those who have served and celebrate the connections that help our veteran community thrive. The YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh’s Veterans Wellness program provides opportunities for veterans to stay active, build friendships and support their overall well-being in a welcoming community.

Discover Veterans Wellness at the Y and connect with others who have served.

Member Appreciation Week

November 16–20

You make the Y a special place to belong! Join us as we celebrate our members with opportunities to connect, create and have fun. Enjoy coffee and conversation, arts and crafts with the kids, and Active Older Adults Bingo.

Your friendships, encouragement and energy help our community thrive—and we can’t wait to celebrate you.
